White - Sparkling
2021 Còsmic Vinyaters Vitalitat Empordà Pétillant Spain, Catalunya, Penedès

Popped and poured. Uncomplicated, clean Petnat with a decent depth and complexity. Very well made, fresh and juicy. Medium length. 84-85

Flight 2 (1 note)

White
2014 Marisa Cuomo Costa d'Amalfi Furore Bianco Italy, Campania, Costa d'Amalfi
89 points
Popped and poured. Tasted blind. Clear, deep golden color. Zesty, floral nose with some acacia. On the palate creamy and dense, good acidity, noticeable mineral core, floral, herbaceous and spicy, also some acacia. Good balance and harmony. Medium length. Seems to me close to its peak. 89-90

Flight 3 (1 note)

White
2019 Jonas Dostert Elbling Alte Reben Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
87 points
Tasted blind. Clear, pale golden color. Earthy, herbaceous nose. On the palate bone dry, a bit unbalanced, nervous acidity, some candied fruit, a bit kitschy. Salty, mineral core, lots of chalk. Medium+ finish. Very interesting, but not my style. Only 10% abv. 87-88

Flight 4 (1 note)

White
2010 Georg Breuer Rauenthaler Nonnenberg Riesling Germany, Rheingau
93 points
Popped and poured. Clear, deep golden color. Beautiful Rheingau nose, very deep and dense with some petrol.
You can feel the 2010 stingy acidity. It is just close of beeing too much. Beautiful tension, depth and grip. Ripe yellow stone fruit, some lime abd zests, lovely salty mineral core. Beautiful balance and elegance. Very long and lingering. No need to hurry. 93+

Flight 5 (1 note)

White
2012 Domaine Roulot Meursault Les Tillets France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault
93 points
Tasted blind. Popped and poured. Clear, medium golden color. Fine, elegant nose with some fine reduction, pear and spices.
Bone dry, oak beautifully integrated and only noticeable as the spine. Dense and creamy, but otherwise rather lean and never fat. Some bitter notes, pear, hints of exotic fruit. With air it gains more depth and minerality. Good balance. Long finish. 93+

Flight 6 (1 note)

Red
2018 Manon Pinot Nori Australia, South Australia, Mount Lofty Ranges, Adelaide Hills
92 points
Tasted blind. Unfiltered ruby color. Nose with some olives and very herbaceous. On the palate strawberries mixed with olives and herbs. Very expressive and extrovert, very fresh (semi-carbonique maceration) and precise. Good tension and substance. Long. 92-93. Such a suprise to see its origin. Never guessed Australia!!!

Flight 7 (1 note)

Red
2012 Antoniolo Gattinara Le Castelle Italy, Piedmont, Northern Piedmont, Gattinara
92 points
Tasted blind. Clear, deep garnet color. Nose with some rose petals and herbs. On the palate high acidity and tannin. Some amarena cherry, herbs, dried petals. Beautiful texture, good length. Potential of further improvement 92+

Flight 8 (1 note)

White
2018 Vazisubani Estate Rkatsiteli Georgia, Kakheti, Vazisubani
90 points
Tasted blind. Interesting salmon-orange color. Nose with a lot of ripe and dried apricot and some strawberry punch. Sweet and exciting.
On the palate more off-dry than dry. Raisined fruit, tomatoe, figs, quince, herbs and spices. Dense, intense and quite long. Very interesting experience, certainly not made for everyone. 14% abv are perfectly integrated. 89-90
