In the palate, the wine shows tightness, aggressive heat, tight tannins, blackcurrant, red currant, red cherries, a bit dusty, feels leaner than expected, medium finish. Bitterness in the aftertaste, will require time

Very different in style, takes time to open up, mostly blackcurrant, spicy, nice ripeness, the oak is more upfront, quite dusty, more “European” in style
Palate is much smoother compared to 2017, still a bit hot, tight tannin, blackcurrant, clove, peppery, a few raisin notes, black cherry, medium to full body, long finish. needs time to open up

The wine shows fully developed profile, the color is turning brick red.
In the nose, the wine shows developed profile, coffee notes, prunes, chocolate, black cherries, old oak notes. At first, the fruit seemed cooked but gets more balanced with time and air in the glass
In the palate, the wine shows fully developed character, more coffee notes, prunes, the tannins are still a bit tough, very earthy, medium body, short to medium finish

In the nose the wine is bright and fresh ,a few rubbery notes that clear off, grapey, apple, pear, tin peach and apricot, tin pineapple, very elegant, with floral notes, quince jam and kumquat.
In the palate the wine is all kumquat, beautiful texture, luscious, a thin oak frame, nice acidity, tin apricot, tin peach, grape concentrate, long finish
Its very smooth in the palate, seamless

This feels leaner and less complex than the 2018 tasted before. There is balance between floral and fruit components, again kumquat, peach, tin pineapple, a few rubber notes again, bit of white chocolate
The wine feels well balanced, more luscious than the 2018, light, nice acidity, caramel, toffee, vanilla, full body, long finish.
Feels one dimensional, less complex and layered than the 2018

The wine shows beautiful complexity, more floral notes with overripe to tin peach and apricot notes, a few sweet spices, thin oak frame that’s more apparent, feels more elegant than the previous vintages (2018/2017), more in balance
In the palate, the wine feels again more luscious than the previous 2, the acidity feels more in balance, a touch of alcohol heat, tin peach, tin apricot, full body, long finish
More honey, syrup notes, a few coffee notes

The wine needs time to open up, alcohol heat, a touch of glue and wood paint, seems to lack balance, grape and coffee notes at first, heavier than all the other vintages (15/17/18), feels far more developed. It also feels leaner, much different in style, following the old winemaking style
Palate is different again, its thick but less so than the others, medium to high acidity, tin apricot, tin pineapple, coffee, almond, espresso, the oak is again more upfront, medium to long finish, feels far more evolved again.

The wine shows a color closer to 2008 with a slight deeper hue
In the nose, the wine shows what I can now call “typical fullness” with loads of overripe to tin apricot, peach, pineapple, grape concentrate, a touch spicy, a thin oak frame. As a whole, it still is closer to 2008 than 2015. A few raisin notes, honey, cinnamon and butterscotch
In the palate, the wine shows more nerve than all the other four together (08/15/17/18), warmth, high acidity, raisin, syrup and a long finish. Still closer 2008 with a more herbal approach.
