Introduction
Late Saturday evening dinner at a really nice restaurant in Marylebone. this is the more casual restaurant of Pied a Terre. The food is very high quality with nice sized courses and variety. the service was well executed and the glassware was very good. corkage was £25 per bottle.
we all very much enjoyed our food

Dinner L'Autre Pied- Decanted and poured, light yellow color, a little asian pear fruit on nose, relative light in the mouth with some fruit hanging on, light weight and not very long, a little bitof oxidation as well,,,,drink up

Red
1995 Domaine Armand Rousseau Père et Fils Chambertin-Clos de Bèze

Dinner L'Autre Pied- decanted for about an hour before drinking, very vibrant on the nose, spice dark red fruits, deep color and smell...tasted great from when it entered mouth til swallow, juicy and mouth filling, all still very primary red fruit, tasted quite young, big and mouth filling and had a long balanced finish, drank this one too early as it is still developing but a very good bottle of wine
Red
1999 Domaine Ghislaine Barthod Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Aux Beaux Bruns

Dinner L'Autre Pied-Popped and poured as we decided one more bottle couldn't hurt.Dark color without any lightening around edges, very jammy red fruit nose, a touch sweet, very smooth inthe mouth, jammy berry flavor with very nice balance of fruit and acidity, everyone thought this was a nice Chambolle showing and that the wine still had years to develop in front of it
