2018 Gunderloch Niersteiner Pettenthal Riesling Großes Gewächs

[Restaurant purchase] No detailed notes. This was a bit shy at first, but opened up nicely with some air. Hint of petrol, lemon, lime, white peach, minerality, lemon zest, apple, herbal aromas. High acidity and a long finish. Very good, will be better with more age. Paired very nicely with the North Sea crab dish

2020 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Chardonnay Bourgogne

[Restaurant purchase] No detailed notes. Not the characteristic reductive PYCM note and without that it is a fine Bourgogne Blanc, but not much more than that. Good acidity, medium length

2015 Weingut Keller Bürgel Spätburgunder

[Restaurant purchase] no detailed notes. Extremely pale in color, combined with a high intensity nose that in no way reminds me of German Spatburgunder, but of the more elegant Burgundy PN. Very floral, pot pourri, wild forest strawberries, very subtle oak. Comparable on the palate, with medium+ acidity and a gorgeous long finish. This was my fist SB by Keller and I was surprised how good it was.

[Restaurant purchase] No detailed notes. Lovely bottle. Giggs note is spot on for me
White - Sweet/Dessert
2017 Carmes de Rieussec

[Restaurant purchase] No detailed notes. Deep lemon in color, a relatively light and fresh Sauternes. Lemon confit, slightly unripe tropical fruit, no major botrytis notes.
