Slightly reductive/rubbery notes over jubey ripe black hued fruits, a little alcohol prickle, sweet spice. Spicy, juicy tends to medium plus intensity acidity, tangy, ripe but fresh black fruits, muted tannins, slightly dilute. Okay.

Medium minus intensity aromas, slightly funky wild ferment/meaty notes, touch of rose petals and blackcurrant and berry. Juicy but quite soft and muted black fruits, muted tannins and finishes a little bitter. I prefer the Grenache, this is a solid no for me.

Savoury, red and black plums, earthy/meaty notes. Medium plus intensity acidity, like the estate there is a slight sense of wetness but with a little more concentration to the red hued fruits, soft tannic burr. Balanced. Okay.

Meaty notes initially backed by earth, red plums, sweet spice, a little perfumed note. Medium plus intensity acidity but fleshy and generous; again in the red fruit spectrum, slightly drying flour textured grip all persists long. Pleasant.

Medium minus intensity aromas show a little sweet spice, ripe wild red and black plum. Juicy, tangy, fleshy, similar flavour profile to the nose, talc textured tannins have a little woodiness and are slightly drying, long. Alcohol warmth on the finish. Hmm

A little volatility, earth, meaty underpin, sour red fruits, sharp acid isn't overtly intrusive, fruit slightly dilute, tannins are talc textured, finishes a little short. Meh.

And, again, a little volatility which lends sourness to the fruit, meaty notes, sweet spice. On the palate the oak shows a little more off-setting the volatility but the latter quality raises questions about it's longevity.

Slight struck match notes, meaty, savoury, plums and sweet spice. Juicy but with dense, rich and concentrated fruit; plums, black berry in support, all travels long joined by cream, sweet spice on an oaky wooden tray that tugs at the tongue. Woof but balanced.

Polished, ripe black fruits; plums, cherry, berry, sweet spice, cream. Juicy, tangy, fruit a little sharper, almost crunchier, on the palate. Tannins are drying, slightly chalky , persistent. Hmm.

Juicy, concentrated and that red hued fruit note lends a little freshness but there is quite a lot of persistent drying talc textured tannins that closes down the palate. Non intrusive alcohol warmth on the finish. Hmm.

Meaty, savoury, slightly reductive, slightly sour black hued fruits; berry over plums. Juicy, medium plus intensity acidity , fruit more concentrated on the palate but still with that fresh/sour quality, tannins are drying and feel a little clumsy, slightly out of whack. meh.

Medium minus intensity aromas of pretty black hued fruits, touch of sweet spice; perfumed notes; almost a little jubey note. Juicy tends to medium plus intensity acidity, slightly coarse tannins and alcohol warmth are fully integrated with the pretty and slightly dilute black fruits, tannins win on the finish. Hmm.

Ripe, concentrated, blackberry, plum, tends to raisin and prune, plenty of sweet oaky spice, cream. Juicy medium plus intensity acidity helps make the palate far less unpleasant than the nose implies, similar flavour profile but less eleventy stupid, tannins and fruit are both told but not overdone, balanced, powerful. Okay.

Ripe plums, sweet spice, a little earthy note, again that red fruit here. Medium plus intensity acidity is a little too much for the fruit lending a little sourness, grippy, drying chalky tannins complete the picture with non-intrusive alcohol warmth on the finish. Meh.

Very slightly reductive; meaty/savoury notes, plenty of sweet spice and black hued fruits, hints of plain chocolate. Juicy with concentrated black fruits, plenty of sweet spice, chalky tannins have a woody note. At seven years old under cork this is still very primary. Crikey.

Rich, plush, perfumed top notes, plentiful concentrated dark fruits, sweet oak spice, a little red hued/mint note. Medium plus intensity acidity, ridiculously concentrated, dense tight woody tannins are a little chalky textured, touch of liquorice here as well as a fair lick of alcohol warmth. Crikey again.

Red and black hued fruits, a little sweet spice, very slightly alcohol prickle lends an almost peppery note. Juicy, tangy, more red hued on the palate, tannins are quite powdery, fruit doesn't quite persist. Simple.

Red over black hued fruit, almost a sense of diluteness and very slight salinity. Interesting nose. Medium plus intensity acidity, that sense of salinity is on the palate married to a fair lick of alcohol warmth that rather dominates the palate, fruit and tannins play second fiddle. A little salted caramel on the finish. weird.

Medium minus intensity aromas of leather, mint, muted black hued fruits, touch of salinity. Juicy, savoury, plentiful drying, grippy, chalky, woody tannins close down the palate, fruit fades into the background. Alcohol warmth on the finish, fruit has been subsumed. Nah

From magnum. Slightly burnt black fruits, a little raisiny, sweet spice, polished oak, touch of cream. Medium plus intensity acidity, concentrated fruit are red and black hued, less raisined on the palate, drying grippy tannins are softly integrated, plenty of alcohol warmth on the finish. woof.

red over blackberry, a little wild ferment meaty note, sweet spice, touch of mint. Medium plus intensity acidity, juicy, muted fruit as per the nose, slightly chalky tannins dry things out. Meh.

Pretty, perfumed, red over black fruits, sweet spice, a little savoury meaty underpin. Juicy fresh acidity, red over black fruits, talc textured tannins persist long, there is a little sourness here that I find slightly off- putting.

Ripe concentrated dense black fruits with a little red fruit/mint note, sweet spice. Polished oak present but not dominant. Juicy, fleshy, polished black fruits, offer berries or plums, alcohol warmth is well managed, tannins are silky, persistent, all travel long, balanced. good

An odd tar note, reductive and ripe, concentrated, black fruits ,sweet oak, spice, smells quite over-extracted. Medium plus intensity acidity feels quite adjusted, concentrated black fruits, lashings of woody tannins prove coarse flour textured. Nah.

Ripe, concentrated, jammy black fruits and slightly dried fruits, a little sweet spice, cream. Medium plus intensity acidity (adjusted again) lends a slightly sour red fruit quality to the palate, woody tannins are drying and chalky textured, plenty of alcohol warmth on the finish. Unwieldy. Ugh.

Slightly raisined black berry fruit, touch of sweet spice, cream. Juicy, black hued fruits, raisins, alcohol warmth, talc textured persistent woody tannins dry out the back palate. Meh.

Plums, oak spice, cream, chocolate, a little slightly sour red fruit note, touch of alcohol warmth lends a peppery prickle. Juicy, fleshy than a wave of concentrated black fruits married to plentiful woody tannins and a fair lick of alcohol which supports the length on the finish. Hmm.

Blackberry, plum, a little apricot - all in the riper spectrum, supported by the new oak. Juicy, medium plus intensity acidity, chewy, drying coarse tannins close down the mid palate, fruit is hidden behind this, time will help.

Decanted, concentrated black fruit tends to the tarry and liquorice, plenty of sweet spice here as well, quite feisty nose with a little alcohol prickle. Juicy, fleshy, concentrated, dense, tannins are woody, chalky and a little too much for the fruit. Time will obviously help.

Positively porty on the nose, raisins, plum, slight prune, sweet spice, very slight herbaceous notes almost. In the mouth It's juicy, concentrated, dense, similar flavour profile is dialled down after the nose, talc textured tannins persist long and are moderately drying. Hmm.

Jubey, whole bunchy black hued fruits, touch of ashiness, meaty wild ferment, touch of pepper. It's a bit sour on the palate, black hued fruits, a little savoury spice, medium minus intensity, slightly chalky textured, persistent, drying tannins. Hmm.

Struck match reductiveness, quite a vegetal note, smoked bacon, perhaps a little black fruit hiding in the bushes. Juicy, fleshy, a little liquorice and black fruit joins the bacon on the palate, and the herbaceous notes are more diminished. Tannins are talc textured and grippy. Hmm.

Reductive, slightly rubbery, red over black fruit, slight sense of concentration. It's what I would anticipate from traditional Victorian Shiraz production. Medium plus intensity acidity married to fresh black fruits prove tangy. Chalky, textured tannins are integrated, alcohol warmth is present on the finish. Clean, balanced. Okay

Jubey, fresh, funky, very slight whole bunch ashiness, black fruit lozenge with a tiny volatile underpin that lends freshness and the nose is very reflected on the palate, tangy, fleshy, jubey and juicy, slightly coarse tannins are firmly embedded. Very slight non-intrusive alcohol warmth, balanced. Good but drink up to enjoy the freshness.

Ashy whole bunch, a little savoury spice, farty wild ferment, black hued fruits present here as well, jubey and volatile note on the nose. Juicy tens to slightly sour, tangy, slightly sharp black fruits, drying talc textured tannins have a touch of coarseness. Alcohol warmth intrudes on the finish. Hmm

Jubey and ashy whole bunch, meaty wild ferment, pretty lifted notes. In the mouth it's juicy, savoury, black hued fruits, plenty of chalky tannic rasp that dries out the mid palate without dominating. Long, rather lovely. A good place to finish the tasting.
