Pale lemon with slight green barley hue. Aromas of medium ripe peach and apricot, as well as walnut, barley and flint, as well as a measure of cooling menthol. Zingy acids, whilst medium bodied, and subtle underripe peach and apricot flavours, as well as slightly candied lemons, bit of cloves and cinnamon, and some walnuts, as well as almond. Somewhst savoury towards the back and slightly briny, and slightly toasty. Medium length. Nice!
Red
2013 Moscone Brothers Barolo Bussia Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo

Pale garnet, with significant browning and fading edges. Intense potpourri aromas, with subtle yet firmly ripe cranberry and red cherry, and a feel of greens and Italian herbs. Very savoury and briny on the palate, with fresh rose petals, underripe redcurrant and red cherry, as well as raspberry, then a sure darkish rendition of molasses, burnt butter, and tar. Lovely!
