Introduction
In chronological order
Moreau Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru La Maltroie
Leflaive Puligny Montrachet
Roulot Bourgogne Blanc
Flight 1 - Cote de Beaune (3 notes)
White
2010 Domaine Bernard Moreau et Fils Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Maltroie
Golden hued.
Earthy and honeyed nose.
Nutty, yeasty palate with very good fruit.
Creamy but not cloying.
A wonderful finish that was just so long.
Just amazing.
Best white burg I have had so far. This is going to be my white burg epiphany.
Look forward to more from this producer.
Perfect to drink now and I suspect will keep for long time to come.
May I suggest white truffle as a pairing.

White
2021 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet
Tough act to follow following 2010 Moreau La Matroie Chassagne.
Its youth is apparent.
Fresher and more floral. More mineral like matchstick on the nose.
Rich ripe and sweet fruit. Very clean.
Better with some air. Probably could have decanted.
Very lucky to have had the opportunity to taste this courtesy of Boon Fong's generosity.

White
2019 Domaine Roulot Bourgogne Blanc
Not very giving on the nose.
Creamier and rounder than Leflaive and Moreau.
More melon than apple.
Although a mere Bourgogne Blanc I think this showed good qualities.

Wonderful bottles which has further my understanding of white burgundies. These three bottles showcased the nuances of terroir and producer with all wines having their own merits.
