PDH, New York City

Introduction
This a night to try something different for me. I found there was little or no heavy earth or funk here, neither was there sweet fruit, which I seek. Lots of them had pepper, but none of them were OTT. The Scholium Margit's A1 was nice. Huge, but nice.
Flight 1 (10 notes)
Red
1989 Pierre Gonon St. Joseph Les Oliviers
No. Nice clean nose. A little pepper. Very think on the palate.
White
2007 Domaine Romaneaux-Destezet (Hervé Souhaut) Ardèche Blanc
No. Calamine/peppar on the nose. Flat on the palate. Short finish.
Red
2006 Domaine Faury St. Joseph (Hedonism)
Ok. Medium body, pepper/calamine, a little alcohol on the back of the palate.
Red
2006 Scholium Project Margit's A1 Margit's Vineyard
Huge, cab fruity. I liked it, it was a gargantuan wine, too big (or too young) but tasty.
