Tawny, methol, camphor, dusty earth, firm tannins with slight ripe fruit

2004 Betz Family Cabernet Sauvignon Père de Famille
Big wine with dark ripe fruit, smoke, and mocha. Tasting young, needs time. This will probably take another 5 years to fully appreciate.

2007 Privé Vineyard Pinot Noir Le Sud
Lite strawberry Kool-Aid, perfumy nose of sweet red fruit, lemon peel, bacon and vanilla. Sweet on the palate, complex with good structure.

Brickish, corked, vinegar, dead. Unknown history of bottle would suggest questionable cellaring.

Medium purple, vanilla blueberry cream, smoke, firm tannins. Tied with Prive for best nose. Needs time or longer decant.
