Tasted by Tom Langan on 6/10/11 - rated 92 - rich, powerful, and luscious wine. It has layers of black berry fruits, plum, and dark chocolate. popped and poured. Good acidity and smooth tannins.

Great wine. Medium bodied. Soft tannins. Enjoyable to drink on a pop and pour. Not much on the nose other than a light hint of strawberry. Probably not a lot of cellar life.

Initial impression - I was extremely disappointed with this product. If GV ever reviews it and is honest about the review, he would recommend a QPR pazzzzz. It is grape juice - delicious fruit yes - but just grape juice. Tannis are mild and minimal. I see little growth potential for this wine in the cellar. But considering what I paid for it, I will cellar it and hope that I am wrong.
