Winemaker's Notes:

Grüner Veltliner reflects the cool and fresh characteristics of the Danube area. The long ripening season with high temperature differences between night and day brings both: fruit and freshness. For us it is the perfect wine for every day and every situation.

Winemaker's Notes:

The most refined and cool among the GV Liters this year, though the fruit is ripe and
the aromas are expressive and pure. You might say the acoustics are perfect. Not only a
slug-it-down wine; you can also chill to it.

Mineral up front with a salient backbone. Good fruit character to offset salty taste, less white pepper than expected from a text book Gruner - but this is obviously not a text book Gruner.

Winemaker's Notes: A traditional and famous wine of Santorini, high in alcohol and strong in character. Made from late harvest grapes, the nose is pleasant, with fruity aromas that comes through on the palate for a full, long finish.

Winemaker's notes: Straw blonde with light shades of green and a subtle nose of citrus fruit. Excellent structure with a depth of fruit-forward flavor with great minerality and acidity that adds freshness, with a lingering finish.

Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Terrassen 2009

There is no wine more versatile at the table! Pronounced peppery flavor and racy structure offer plenty of pleasant refreshment.

My notes:

Great example of classic Gruner.. wonderful for food!

Nice, structured Gruner. Good fruit, not too much acid, mellow finish. Good for sunny days

Good Gruner character. Fruitier style rather than pepper. Soft and rounded but with enough structure to stand up to food. More stone fruit than apple
