This wine needed time in the glass, and opened up to reveal what I expect from Qupe' and Stolpman vineyard fruit. Overall a very nice wine, but there are other local offerings that are better at this price-point.

This bottle allowed me to trust Chardonnay again. This wine has great varietal character, and not just vanilla, char, and butter.

After a year in cellar this wine lost nothing from the purchase date. Great fruit, and perfect for a summer day. Paired with seafood and salad.

It took a while for this wine to develop after it opened. It turned out to be what I expect from Beckmen. Solid wine. The winemaker has yet to disappoint me. This vinage was served at a recent White House State Dinner. The President has great taste in wine.

I love this wine. It reminds me of so many of the Alsacian white wines I would enjoy when I first started to appreciate wine. Bright is a perfect word to describe this wine. It is one of myy wife's favorite white wines.

Huge, dark, and grapey! I am a huge fan of P.S., and this wine does not disappoint. Opened and breathed in blass before being served. The experience front to back was wonderful. Enjoyed over a few days, the wine did not decrease in quality as time progressed.

This is a very solid Syrah blend from a good producer. For an entey into the Morgan portfolio you will not be disappointed. Great mid-week wine. You can find it at Ventura Wine Company in Ventura,CA at a good price.

The correct vintage would be 2006.

I wish I waited a few more years to open this bottle, but it is as good as any Merlot made in California. It displayed great weight and structure, though the tannins were very firm (TIME). Decanting would have helped, but I didn't. Beatiful nose of cedar and cherry. The fruit is balanced well with the oak. This wine will only improve with time. I am fast becoming a fan of the wines from Star Lane and Dierberg Estate. Additionally, wines from their Three Saints line are a steal!

Too acidic. I wanted more bready, yeasty qualities for the $$$, even though it was gift. It went well with the meal (crab, fish, hummus), but not really balanced. Citrus for sure. Lots of lemons.

Since the 2007 was listed as one of WS Top 100 wines, I thought I'd pick up what I could find. Admittedly, not the same vintage. I thought that the wine was good for $9.00. I would select Jacob's Creek Reserve instead for the price. The Shoofly was a little hot, and had an astringent finish. Mid-palate displayed fairly typical Oz Shiraz. I may not buy the 2007 at an inflated price, because there are plenty of great Syrah and Shiraz at a decent price from California and Australia.

I have had other vintages which were better. I found it a bit too raisin-y. I was hoping that there would be more complexity of flavor. I found it too one-note. I have other ports and dessert wines in my celler. I wish I had chosen differently that day. The bottle was a gift, and I am grateful for the gift, and friends that give wine as gifts.

The Daughter's Chardonnay is easily the best made in Santa Ynez Valley. Paired with crab salad and Ahi poki. The minerality is balanced nicely with the friut. Perhaps I had this bottle chilled too much at first, but came alive as the meal progressed. I encourage visiting Los Olivos and Saarloos and Sons to pick up a bottle of this wine before it sells out. Very limited production.
