Purple opaque. Brooding, concentrated nose of briary fruits, some cassis, fruitcake, vanilla. Palate of blackberry, blueberry, plum with beg extraction. Some smoke, chocolate, coffee. Nice tannic structure. This could improve with age but is terrific now for its sheer intensity. Given to me by Ron and Derik. Thanks guys for a great Washington wine experience.
