7/7/19, 7:29 PM - Simply not true, you don't understand Cabs that aren't big huge Napa fruit and tannin bombs, which this is not. The 2011's are definitely different but in a more understated way, they just needed a bit more time. I just opened this same wine and found it perfection. Still showing fruit, nice mellow tannins, medium acidity, drinking very well with some room to improve. I'm a wine professional and Raymond does indeed make some very big wines but this vintage is not one of those and you should definitely revisit 2011. Maybe you'll change your opinion. Not the typical Napa vintage but maybe that is a good thing!
