Earthy veil that, once lifted, reveals blackberry, spice and a little leather. Nicely balanced tannins. Not overly complex. Decant!

Big Syrah. Needed decanting and warm up to room temperature to start unfolding. Had it at Pappas Bros. in Dallas. Would love to try again with longer time in decanter.
