Amazing that this wine still has so much left in the tank. Was very surprised at how much fruit was still left. Still showing bright strawberry, raspberry, and cherry notes with the typical Yamhill-Carlton AVA spice. Compared to the 2004 DDO Louise (mostly tertiary notes and not much life left), this one is singing. Will definitely be looking for another bottle to try again in a couple more years.

Really great wine. Apple, pear, biscuit and yeasty notes all combine with a creamy finish. Still has lots of time left. Great start to our 15th year anniversary.

Very good wine for a 2004 Dundee Hills wine. Definitely in the last stages of life but still very good. Mostly tertiary notes now. Candied cherries, plums, figs, and prunes. Some leather and tobacco hints as well as some baking spices. Paired great with our 15th anniversary mushroom dinner!

Good spice and pepper on the nose and palate. Tight tannins that mellow after a few hours but will be even better after a few more years. Great rocks wine!

Very good Rocks District Syrah. Black fruit, spice, tobacco, wild game and smoked meat all show up. Still a very young wine, it's approachable now with a bit of decant time, but will definitely improve after 5 years with potential to shine in 10.

Great wine that is drinking very well right now. Black fruit with some tobacco and baking spice showing through. Tannins have mellowed a good amount and have integrated well into the wine. Will continue to age well for another 5 - 8 years. Will save my last bottle for a few more years.

Upon first PnP, the wine seemed a bit thin for a Temp. Still had some nice fruit and a bit of spice but not enough of either for our palettes. I think we were both expecting more body, fruit, spice, etc., but it never really showed up. Tried it the next day and it opened up more, a bit of floral notes and more distinctive fruit and spices but the body still wasn't there. A decent wine but you have to go in knowing that it's not going to be as full bodied as other tempranillos.

An ok older vintage wine. Very little fruit left, just a bit of fig, raisin, and a plum. Mostly showing leather, tobacco and some backing spices. Not much body or finish left with this wine. Only had a glass as it wasn't really worth drinking more, but it was interesting to try an older vintage.

Decanted for about an hour. Opens with blackberry, black current and black cherry. Some tertiary notes of leather, tobacco and baking spices stared showing through after the hour decant. Medium plus body and acid and medium tannins and finish. Showing well now but still has potential for further aging; maybe 3-4 years max. A good wine for a tough vintage

Very clean and brilliant, pale straw in color. It pours with a nice mousse that leads to a steady stream of very small bubbles
Notes of Apple, cream and dough on the nose, with hints of citrus and melon.
Starts crisp but moves to a soft, silky and creamy mid-pallet with a dominance of apple, bread and biscuit. The hints of citrus lead to the slightly salty clean finish.

Decanted an hour before drinking. Mainly dominated by pepper and spice but there is a subtle floral note as well. Not very heavy for a zinfandel blend and actually kind of a thin mouth feel and a short finish. It's a good wine but don't think it's great. It's kind of hard to see where they were going with this wine. Doesn't seem to hit the right balance in the blend. Don't think that more time in the bottle will do much more for it. I would drink it now if I had more bottles.

Good QPR Bordeaux. Still young but don't know if its a wine to cellar for long. Good but subtle nose of spice, black currant and red fruits. Also a little mineral and cedar notes. Good flavor with medium tannins and a medium finish. Notes of strawberry, blackberry and black pepper. Great for everyday drinking especially at the price.

Blackcurrant, cedar and a bit of prune on the nose. Big black fruits, black cherry, and a hit of tobacco on the palate. Very good but will be great in another 10 years.

Over powering smell of smoke and BBQ on opening. Way to over powering the first night. Tried the next night and still had over powering funky nose. Couldn't finish the wine.

Cherry, strawberry and mineral on the nose which transfers to the palate but alcohol overwhelms both. Much better Pinots out there for the same price.

Heavy alcohol and lots of fruit and tannins on first opening. Decanted for and hour and it opened up which gave way to a big heavy wine with lots of fruit. Definitely needs to age for another 5 to 10 years if not 20 to let the tannins mellow out more.

Aroma of citrus and a few floral notes. Taste of butter at the start with citrus notes filling in at the end.

Dark cherries and pepper on the nose. Heavy red berry on the palate. Not enough spice or pepper to balance out the heavy fruit.
