At first there were overwhelming fruity notes, not typical of Tertulia but I thought perhaps it was relative to the vintage. I also noticed other reviews mentioning it was light and fruit forward. Now, about two glasses in its bitter and acidic. Disappointing.

This wine was fantastic. I'd recommend it be drunk soon, as the 2002 had already started to turn. I found this bottle to have a wood and cherry nose, with earthy and oak flavor. I found the finish to be medium with a smooth finish.

We had the wonderful opportunity to compare the 2004 and 2002 side by side. If you have a 2002 on hand, drink now. I found this wine to have an alcohol nose and be slightly oxidized. It is on it's decline. I did find the WA earthy taste to still be present and this wine to be somewhat spicy.
