Honey/yellow. Viscous rich and honeyed, a bit weighty for the 90° night. Incredibly aromatic- ripe melon, peach, mandarin orange, sweet citrus, wafts of which drifted throughout the room upon pouring. Almost off-dry. nutty. Slightly oily odd finish, just kept sipping. Would've been even more enjoyable in the fall with some pork schnitzel. This is a fabulous one-glass wine.

Apparently well-made wine that revealed more as the hour went on, like a good burgundy will. Garnet/ruby bright and clear with med viscosity. Aromas of ripe cherry raisins, leather, and mushrooms. Palate condition turned tart and savory. Flavor of meat, leather, coffee- massively mushroomy. Dusty leaves and a slight minerality with little apparent oak, though being from the Côte d'Or this must have seen some. Mod+ tannin, mod+ acid, and mod alcohol with a dusty dry finish, albeit a soft one.
