10/29/19, 7:59 AM - It was more of a food wine before and now it is more of a sipping with friends wine. Didn't give it much air to start and it did not hold up late into the evening (about 4 hours). Surprisingly, since my last bottle had a little more umph to it earlier this year.

Subtle nose. Touch of smoke, berries some vine scents. Berries/cherries up front. A little like a thick Barolo. Zin gives it body but the floral carignane gives it the floral overtones. Good with food, but even better by itself.
