Cellared this bottle for almost 10 years, and it was certainly one of the best bottles I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking! Tons of dark fruit, and tannins that had mellowed out just enough to provide a well rounded full-bodied experience with lots of extra chocolate and leather in there to round out the palate profile

Unbelievable chocolate and fresh tobacco aromas with an impeccable balance and amazing finish.

The wine looks yellow gold colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like grapefruit, gooseberry, raspberry, cherry, acacia and honeysuckle. It tastes like blackberry, gooseberry, grapefruit, lychee and honeydew. The body is light/medium. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

This hits WAY above its weight class... If I had blind tasted this, I would've guessed it was in the $25 range, however it's like $5 at Trader Joe's, so it's A STEAL. Lots of citrus and tropical fruit and a great acidity to round it out. Medium bodied with a lengthy finish.

BUY. DRINK. REPEAT. many many times

Great bottle of juice. Reminds me of the Flint characteristics that I get from Chablis. It's a solid value

Extremely aromatic and refreshing with hints of citrus, orange blossom, and a slight minerality that adds a nice funky quality to this value buy. Overall I'd say this is another buy. Drink. Repeat.

My favorite cheap rose offered at Trader Joe's in Union Square. No doubt that this hits above its price range.

Easily one of the nicest Provence Rosés I've found at TJs for this price point. Amazingly structured with a gorgeous minerality that is perfectly complemented by the acidity. Wild strawberries. Cherries. Rose hips. A tiny bit of pepper on the back end that really somehow ties it all together.

I thought this wine was a beautiful expression of Chardonnay from the northernmost Appellation in the breathtaking land of Burgundy. I was pleasantly surprised that the wine had a bit of a butter/brioche note that you'd typically expect from a California Chardonnay that's gone through malolactic fermentation - which Chardonnays from Chablis usually don't go through from what I know - so I feel sorry for anyone tasting this wine blind given the number of new world-ish characteristics that it presented rather unexpectedly

Still one of my favorite Chardonnays to date! It's so well balanced and hits so many of the precise points it's supposed to when drinking, so overall I'd call this wine a serious WINNER!

Buy. Drink. Repeat.

This time around, I detected a highly-noticeable hint of green peppers followed by the typical Provence Rosé aromas and flavors of strawberry, structured minerality, and lush raspberries.

Eh. Cheap. Tasted mass produced - like it has wood chips added for the oak appeal.... Anyways, spend a few more bucks and get a better from NWUSA or Burgundy.

Not my favorite Rose from Provence, but still not a terrible deal for the price point.

Overall, it does have the right aromas and flavors that a Rosé from Provence should have, so that's on the positive side of things.

Another awesome style of wine that involves letting the grapes dry out so they're even more concentrated than they would've been to begin with.

The full body of this wine suggests it wood pair amazingly with some robust red meats, so I look forward to testing that theory out ASAP.

I absolutely loved this wine, and when I went back to Trader Joe's Wine Shop the next time, I DEFINITELY grabbed another bottle :-)

That said, it tastes like it has a nice age on it, and it's drinking beautifully right now.

Dark cherries. Leather. Tobacco. A nice vanilla and cinnamon hint and an overall great, old-world quality about it.

A large producer from the Cava region in Spain though still one of the producers that The Wine Bible denotes as a "must try" Cava.

That said, for the price, this could easily compete with a high quality Champagne yet it comes in right around the $10 price range. Overall, this is an easy choice to make when deciding on a solid, dry, white bubbly.

Buy. Drink. Repeat.

I like this style - where the grapes are allowed to dry out a bit after harvesting - because it makes for a beautifully intense red wine that has more complexity than other wines from the same vintage and at the same price point.

Buy. Drink. Repeat.

When I first tasted this wine after opening it and leaving it on court for about an hour, I really wasn't very impressed and was a bit let down given the fact that I couldn't detect many aromas or flavors at all and it seem to have a very low a city and a flabbiness about it. That said, to my surprise endolite, it actually ended up opening up quite well, and presenting a bit of black fruit chocolate and tobacco on the nose but was fairly uncomplex on the palate being dominated by black fruit for the most part with a bit of spice that I'm assuming is from the addition of Malbec to the blend. That said, it did have quite a long finish, but it still didn't seem to have a very high acidity to me and was a little bit soft in terms of the tannins. All French Oak, so not a lot of vanilla notes or anything else you expect from American Oak aging. I probably won't buy this again if I'm being honest.

An amazing expression of old world Chard with new world characteristics. Overall I'd say this was a standard white Bordeaux while simultaneously being a wine that can please the consumer looking for something that has a new Wold nuance to it while still retaining its old world charm.

The wine looks greenish gold colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like grapefruit, lemon, cantaloupe, honeydew, peach blossom and rose. It tastes like lemon, papaya and mineral. The body is light/medium. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity and a nice spritzy-characteristic to it.

Honesty one of the best Sangiovese wines I've ever had the pleasure of tasting for under $20... Almost reminiscent of a right bank Bordeaux in terms of the aromas, but the red cherry and tobacco notes bust their way onto the scene like the KoolAid man which leaves little doubt that this is a solid Sangio. Buy. Drink. Repeat.

Great job at sticking to the high notes of a good Cab Franc. Smokiness, black fruit, mushrooms, spices and the perfect balance of lavender contribute beautiful aromas and flavors to this overall medium-tannin, medium plus acidity beauty.

It opened up nicely after the first few hours. I thoroughly enjoyed this wine. Perhaps better at a price range a couple buck lower, but interesting nevertheless. Trincadeira grapes are the main component, so that varietal provides a lovely complexity.

I'm hesitant to give this a 90+rating but I ALMOST did just because of how much I, personally, enjoyed this wine. The Syrah claws its way through the acidity and minerality to the point where you're not going to wonder whether or not there's Syrah in the mix. That blueberry, spicy, lanolin textured palate comes through in droves

Even though I laid this bottle down for a few years, it still could've easily aged another decade or two. The liquid was so thick and beautiful that the standard "blueberry motor oil" was just caked on the inside of the cork. Un.Believe.Able. So beautiful overall. Blackberry. Blueberry. Decaying violets. Cedar. Leather. Spice. Overall a great wine from a top notch Napa producer. (p.s. if you're ever in Napa, you HAVE to visit this winery. Completely self sustaining. Vines growing everywhere you look and walk - not just in the vineyards. I met the Princess of Vietnam (Thi-Nga I think was her name) while I was there. Make sure to book in advance.
