Enjoyed alongside the 2010 and 2011 ACVV Estate Cabernet at a large family gathering with grilled ribeyes. At ten plus years this is exquisite, hitting on all cylinders and well into the development stage showing a great mix of black and red fruits, floral aromatics, evolving complex notes, and a perfect balance of all the elemental components. Drinking at peak, but has potential for additional cellaring. Should drink well for another five plus years.

Up to now, I never drank the Justin cool aid. I found their wine to be ok, but (imo) simple, overscored and hyped. One must taste the wine that is in front of them however, and I believe I now get what others have been talking about. The Isosceles is a classic Bordeaux blend, but I think the secret to really getting what this wine is all about is decant time and serving temperature. Ours decanted for about 4 hours and was kept at 58 degrees F. Holy smokes, what a difference! Balance, mouthfeel and finish all fell into line, nose and flavors were distinct yet well balanced, pleasant on it's own and great with food (smoked tri tip, in our case). All in all, I now have to revisit the Justin lineup.
