Medium ruby colour. Pronounced nose with ripe blackcurrant and blueberries. Hints of mushroom. Vanilla and sweet spice from the oak.

Medium to high acidity, good smooth tannins and a beautiful long finish.

Smelt deliciously fruity even though probably now past its best (according to Community at least). Still retained red fruit, nicely balanced with tannins (now fairly light) and some spice. Enjoyed with roast beef.
