    8/7/20, 12:37 AM - 84? C’mon, it’s young but it’s absolutely delicious?

Red
2016 Kalinda Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
Nose: Kinda hot on the nose. Some minerality, very subtle spice (that was nice actually), light bright red fruit (almost like that red Jell-O).

Palate: Dry, mineral-y, full-mouth feel (I don't want to use dense for some reason.. not dense or full-bodied in terms of flavor), slight oak and spice, still kinda hot (you'll need to give this some time). After letting it sit for a while in the glass, subtle red fruit shows a little bit more.

This wine reminds me of a wine from Paso Robles. I find a lot of the wines from Paso Robles has a specific characteristic to them but I can't put my finger on what it is. This wine has it.. is it oak? french oak? vanilla? not sure what.. almost tries to be creamy in a sense. Short finish of about 2 seconds, what lingers is the oak taste but for me that doesn't really count..

6/8/18, 3:15 PM - I respect your point of view but 75 points feels incredibly low for a wine that is very easy to drink now, will last for a few years and at $23 is actually a great QPR.
