Fantastic, such a a great qpr. Previous ratings sell this wine short. A great pickup if you can find it.

Full bodied with currant and blackberry fruit, no oak. Tannins are nicely integrated, best Chappellet since 2006. This one might score mixed reviews, definitely not for everyone.

This one is done. Still shows the peach and grapefruit notes but the acidity is gone. Still a decent bottle but no where close to its 2009 release.

Should have waited, very nice effort but tannins need a little mellowing. A big cabernet with great structure. Clearly built for the long haul. Great pickup at this price point. Leave it alone for a while.

The 2006 from Truchard was always one of my favorites but it seems to be fading quickly so drink up!

Nice mix of pineapple and pear but it tails off quickly on the finish. Definitely not full-bodied but still a nice effort. Probably could do better at this price point. I don't pickup the oak mentioned by Nutty08.

A bit disappointing. Ordered the 2004 but was presented with the 2005 and decided to give it a shot. Wonderful aromas of plum, blackberry and cedar don't make it to the palate. The little flavor that made it seemed to vanish in an instant. Not sure what' s going on with this one but don't think time will help. Decanted about 1 hour. Paired with herb seared filet of lamb with chevre flan.

Very nice effort. Flavors of plum, cherry & blackberry and just a hint of oak. Nice long finish where the flavors persist & the supple tannins seal the deal. Wine showed extremely well vs the disappointing 2005 Affinity. Plenty of life left here but no sense waiting.
