drank 2 bottles in Hong Kong in a private atmosphere: both bottles opened and poured it right from the beginning - without decanting I had black currant, eucalyptus notes and dusty aromas of earth in my nose followed by dried fruits, leathery notes and coffe and tobacco, very spicy and some plums made it soft - very soft tannins showed that this wine is clearly ready to drink but still strong enough to live easely for another 5 to 10 years. A little mineral aftertaste, not very long but just O.K. kept me off from giving the wine a higher note- So If you like BDX styled wines and specially earthystyle like St. Julien or St. Estephe you cannot go wrong with this wine - after all regarding its very confortable price (not saying cheap because it might leave a bitter aftertaste) - it's a great value and will keep a big pleasure for quite a while - 95 points
