Red
2011 Domaine Robert Chevillon Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Fragrant and fresh aromas.

Silky dark fruit and garrigue on the palate. Very soft tannins and fairly low acid.

Solid Bourgogne.

11/25/19, 8:39 PM - I didn’t mean to score it at all. Fixed.

White
2011 A.J. Adam Hofberg Riesling Kabinett Mosel Saar Ruwer
This bottle was in rough shape but the wine made it through very well. Considerably rich in body and flavor for an eight year kabinett. Let it sit open for a while and the acidity will freshen things up. Will age for longer if you want more petrol and condensed flavors, especially if your bottle is in good shape.

10/31/19, 12:10 PM - I did not intend to give it a numerical rating at all. The 50 points was an error. I've removed it.

Fields of flowers, rows of tomatoes, and tart rhubarb. Creamy mid palate though the finish is disappointing. Genuine character but overall it is short lived.

    2/19/18, 7:43 PM - To acemdin@yahoo.com,

Thanks for pointing this out. I remember this wine and enjoyed it a lot but doesn't deserve such a high mark. I looked over my notes from that evening and adjusted the score.

    Cheers!
