What a difference a day makes. On day 2 this really rounded up nicely. Most of the heat and all of the candied fruit are gone. Lovely nose of blackberries, rose hip and a touch of tobacco. The taste is now darker, with some lovely licorice / bay leaf on the finish. I'm still amazed by the youth of this. And I'm glad we bought a six-pack, of which 4 bottles are safe in our storage in the Netherlands!

11/14/19, 9:17 AM - Hi! I found one bottle of this lbv in my local supermarket today. Really strange: it’s an old bottle, and it was the only one on the shelf. I never saw it before, maybe the personnel found it...forgotten, in a dark corner. Anyway, I bought it, and now I am curious what I can expect. According to your tasting note, it may be quite good. Did you taste one of your remaining bottles lately?
