From a different source than previous and stunning. Complex and floral, buckets of ripe blackberries. I've scouted round and bought yet more while still available.

Ok, nothing memorable though.

Drinking very well. Soft, dark cherry. More Central Otago than Martinborough, suits me fine.
White - Sweet/Dessert

Rich gold in colour, slight acridity. Dried apricots, good mouth feel. Less a dessert wine, reminded me of a medium sherry. Very drinkable though, especially accompanying an apricot tart.

Luscious on the nose. Unctuous mouth feel, leaning towards dessert wine territory. Enjoyed with crime brûlée. Honeysuckle definitely, lychees not predominant. Lovely.

Screw cap, slight sulphur on nose on first opening, left to clear 10 mins. Elegant now, leaning in feel and flavour towards an unoaked Chardonnay.

Boysenberry, cherry on nose. Earthy vanilla notes. Reminded me of a slightly watered port. Went well with a good steak.

Bright appearance, 12.5% Limited Release. Pink Grapefruit dominant, not much length. Will try again in a year.

Last one, still lovely and smooth, but starting to lose the wonderful fruit from two years ago

Easy to see why this was the Champion wine at the 2009 Air New Zealand show. Continues to improve with age, heady on the nose, rich colour and lingering finish. Still more to give.

Cork dry top 1cm only. Decanted - very brick in colour. Nose barely detectable, little left to taste, no length. No tears. Not offensive though, just long gone.
