Awesome. Everything a Pinot should be. Earth, fruit, balance. If you have one of these in your cellar, we are green with envy. Enjoy!

Pretty good wine. Not a "big" wine, light enough to drink with fish. Felt it was lacking depth, a bit "empty" for our taste, but for those looking for an simple and easy drinker, this is a good option.

Held up nicely! Loved this wine - fruit forward, but not overwhelming. Drinks great with Italian!

Tried to get our hands on another bottle but it's tough to find. Ripe fruit, dark and complex that really opens up with time. Had two bottles and drank them one after the other.

Awesome balance. Great goes to excellent the next day! Merlot is making a comeback and this wine is proof of the grapes true potential. Plus, we met the winemaker; he has great attitude and the right approach to his craft. Simply put, he and his partner are in it for the wine. Give it a try, hope you like it as much as we did!

Yes. Opened this bottle and enjoyed the first half on day one. Letting it open up overnight and expecting even more tomorrow. Tannic? Sure, a little. Look past that and you'll find a lovely wine at a $40 price point.

Great balance - just enough fruit but not overpowering. Low acid, mellow and a delight to drink. Perfect backyard sun conversation wine. Would buy again.

We feel this was was probably a good wine in its prime - unfortunately we waited too long to drink it (where were you Cellarmasters.com).

Good solid red wine at an affordable price. Always a good "go to" when you want something simple, not too complex but all around tasty.

Overwhelming acidity, lacking fruit and generally drinks a bit harsh. No depth. As a fan of Hightower, I was a bit disappointed.

Not a bad weekday Syrah. We actually enjoyed it more than we anticipated. Bold, deep flavors; easy to drink but stands up to food. Would definitely buy again at the sub $20 range.
