Thought it might be a good buy with the price drop, however I was disappointed. Light in color, seemed to have a very high alcohol taste. Not much fruit on the palate.

Great Bordeaux blend. Had with Filet paired well. Beautiful balance of acidity and tannins.

Had to try this twice. The first time it was to warm and had a bitter green taste. The second time chilled to 55F, the wine was better. Lots of big bold fruit up front, not a complex wine, with a short finish. If you enjoy Beaujolais you will like this reasonably priced wine.
