This had a nice aroma and nice colour. Not as good as a pure Cote de Provence but I think slightly better this time than my prior note.

Very full bodied version, quite surprised by this and fruitier than usual. I see several low scores. I always give scores for what they are, rather than a measure against all wine and for a Nouveau (which I have been drinking since they were all the thing in the 1970s) this is a good one.

Good value wholesome red blend that would be great for parties at this price.

I recall going to Cahors in the 1980s and finding it to be the only Malbec area in France. I found Malbec interesting and a little less fruity than other grapes. This was a decent representative of the area, but I think it probably needs longer to remove some of the sharp edges.

Good to see screw tops coming to south of France. Very nice Rosé, pale and smooth

This is another of Garagiste's best 12 Rose's of 2021 and a really nice one. I have consumed earlier vintages of this wine and I think it has always been good. It is very pink, almost a pale shocking pink very smooth and a very good lingering finish.

This was another Garagiste best Rose of 2021. It is a Pinot Noir Rose, so not too common an option. It is very nice, medium pink hue and fairly long lasting. As my wife said, not her favourite Rose but very nice.

An average Cabernet Sauvignon that was a little before the start of its drinking window so may mellow as I felt it was too tannic.

This was a lovely smooth, Chablis, no noticeable acidity and tasted very fruity. We both loved it.

I expected that as this wine was one of the Garegiste best French Roses of 2021 it would be better. Rather acidic, little obvious fruit but it did have a lovely light colour. Not my favourite 2021 Rose

Lovely light color, very similar fragrance and taste to a good Cote de Provence with two grapes that match. Certainly see why Garagiste selected this as one on the top Rose's of 2021 as it's very good.

Very dark pink and thus not my preferred type of rose. I thought it was rather bland and did not have anything particular to highlight or as a detriment.

We all loved this and found it just slightly better than the other Roseline wine that came in the same lamp shaped bottle.

The end of the visit of our friends who only drink Cote de Provence and Cava. This last bottle with them was enjoyable but we ranked it as a decent 89 and very typical.

So far, only having tried 5 of Garagistes top 12 Rose's of 2021 this is our favourite. Exactly what we look for in a good Rosé, very light in colour and with nice fruit.

Having family here at the moment that drink only white wine means a week of whites, and this Chardonnay is a good rounded wine but not as nice as the one we drank Monday.

Interest Gamay based Rose from Beaujolais. It has a lovely light colour like a Cote de Provence, but lacks the finish. Very good inoffensive Rose that is fairly low alcohol though I would have preferred a longer finish and more fruit.

Lovely very light coloured and good representative of the wine of Provence while not being a Cote de Provence,. Screw top bottle was easy to store.

I drink a lot of Rose and although Provence is my favourite area of production there are many other good Rose's out there. Many make it too dark for me, but this is fairly light. It's not one to rave over. I tried it over three nights to see if it improved and it was better for breathing, but it leaves a very dry aftertaste and I though the only fruit I could detect was a hint of Strawberry. Not horrid, but it not in my top ten either.

Light Rose that was an interesting comparison to the Cabernet Version the prior night. Both nice wines, this seemed a little less fruity.

Last night we enjoyed the 2018 vintage and tonight tried 2020 alongside what remaind of the 2018. The 2020 appeared to have less body and tannin and be more acidic so I preferred the 2018. I still have some 2017 and 2019 left so maybe I will compare more. Both years (18 and 20) are distinctly Loire Cab Franc which takes on a familiar taste. I have found Cab Francs from other areas do not have this specific feature. This being the first area of France where I actually drank the wine where it was grown it has a special place for me even if this first occurred over 40 years ago!

Sitting out on probably the hottest day so far this year, this is a light easy drink. Compared to a Cote de Provence it comes up short, but it's at least half the price!
