Pale ethereal slightly bricky colour, showing some maturity. Nose of wild strawberry, cherry, touch of game. Palate light to medium bodied, strawberry fruit to the fore, long. Personally my preference is for a slightly fuller bodied style (Mortet et al) but this is in a good place. Opened on J&B recommendation to start on the 2011s and would say drink with confidence now with some life ahead.
