Stellar on open... After an hour the palate sort of disappeared and became a black hole - not just a finish that vanishes but actually starts erasing what you just drank. So, pop it and drink up.

Pineapple and reduction. Really excellent for the level and price.

So much better than the previous vintage. An actual window into their higher end stuff for once.

Delicious, but needs a steak with a bold crust.

Still lovely, but drink up. I don't see this getting better

Not a bad Riesling by any means, but feels incomplete and a bit boring. If I were blinded I would probably call a better producer from the Finger Lakes instead of something from Germany.

High minerality, but searingly high acid. The wine is imbalanced. It has a fine mousse, and what's there is pleasant enough - but it would VASTLY benefit from a little dosage (like 3g/L).

Super natty white, but a tasty one. Really pretty nose but the kombucha-like acid character limits me to just a glass of this.

Agreed with the other commenters. Thin, light, unbalanced, a little medicinal even. A shame, but not the first I've encountered this profile in 21 reds.
White
Almost Rosé in color, definite skin contact on the nose. A fun wine. Best with food.

Pleasant but a bit forgettable. But a pretty good QPR at $55.

A bit madeirized, still nice, but maybe not the best storage before I bought this.

Floral, cherries, ethereal. Just a really elegant Barbaresco. One of the best I've had outside of Gaja.

A strong pine note developed which is terribly out of place. Maybe a bad bottle, or my palate shifted since I had this in 2018, but this is super modern and ripe and not really my thing.

This is really lovely for a Bourgogne and they handled the vintage with aplomb. Light and ethereal and mineral driven. Will be curious to see how the Meursault is.

B/B+. Decent but not memorable Bourgogne.

Virginia has no right to make wine this good. Between this and Michael Shaps, more of the state should be planted to Petit Manseng.

Pretty, but dominated by acetone. Like drinking nail polish remover. But the rest of it is still pretty enough to rate in the 80s.

Oaky but sexy spicy oak. Had some good funk going to it and an appreciable amount of fruit. Tasty Burgundy.

Dark fruits, luscious. Not as ethereal as the last time I had it, but there's enough there that this is going to be real special with a few more years on it.

A little brioche, red apple, pear, some citrus, some nuts. Plushy for an extra brut, but really enjoyable and drinkable. A hedonistic champagne.

It's exceedingly rare to find a champagne that is both intellectual and hedonistic but this nails it.

I've loved several vintages of this in a row, but this is really high acid and lithe to a fault. 21 is just an uneven vintage. Have it with oysters or light seafood.

Incredible. Reductive for sure but once that blows off there's this weight and depth that's stunning. Great with richer seafood.

Already ready to go as others have said. 93ish on the nose, 86ish on the palate. It's lovely, just needs more acid.

Light, bright red fruit... But also this undercurrent of medicinal tones. Probably the vintage. Not my favorite.

Kinda boomer? Has some spice but it's more wood spice. Did not show super well.

Very drinkable, and a perfect foil to a garlic herb steak. Juicy acidity, full bodied, screams Syrah with a profile of black and blue fruits and pepper. This is fruit forward without being jammy.
White
Celery and floor wax. Maybe an off bottle? I enjoyed past vintages.

Pleasant. Citrus. Apricot. Zesty. Mineral. Has a bit of a creamy rich edge to it. Would drink this over quite a bit of Jura.

Mine also fizzed over on open from fridge cold. The mousse was as coarse as a sailor's vocab. This tasted like cheap champagne - in the same league as Nicolas Feuillate. Big unusual miss for Savart.

Lively. High toned red fruits, stemmy tannins that start to dominate after some air. Drinkable now, but probably best from 2025+.

Really wild. Unfiltered to the point of floating sediment. Aggressive acid profile. Great foil to rich food as the label implies but not sure I'll buy more.

Thin, stemmy, needs time. The Bourgogne Rouge is showing far better and for a lot less money.

A lovely bright zippy white, perfect with lemon and lighter seafood. Would probably be incredible with oysters.
