A really phenomenal bottle of Volnay. Great balance of fruit and earth. Drinking well right now but has MANY more years in front of it. If you can find it a really nice price also.

I don't know if something has happened to this wine in the last year but it is thin and acidic. Sour cherry and cedar. I want to like it but it relatively harsh on the palate. Slightly better with food.
