I really do not like this wine and that's so hard for me to say as I know Foxen produces fabulous wines. I don't know if it's this particular vintage or not. I ended up pouring it down the drain.

Pineapple, apricot, peach, citrus. Good for a Chardonnay. Still very much drinkable if cellared properly.

I like this wine. It was very good for a Chardonnay. Full bodied, rich, layered. Lemon and orange. Yummy!

I love this wine. Blackberry and pepper come through clearly. Full-bodied and rich. Has at least another 2 good years left on this vintage.

This is the Foxen I know and love. Wine still has some nice life to it if cellared properly. Blackberry is predominant. Nice somewhat woody/cedar aroma. Smooth.

Full black cherry with cassis and cocoa. Smooth lingering finish. Balanced. Oak undertones. Paired with prime steak.

The wine looks crimson colored. The body is medium/full. Went great with various cheese pairings. I wish I had more!

I'm a Foxen fan and I really like this wine. Impressive. A very different tasting Syrah. Very light for a Syrah yet rich. Blackberry, smoky, herbs. Medium legs. Moderate sediment but I've had this cellared since purchase. At perfect drinking peak in my opinion if properly cellared.

Tart plum. Potpourri of herbs. Medium finish. High acidity. Garnet in color. Absolutely perfect pairing with Italian cuisine. Wish I had more!

Had cellared this wine for several years - just opened it and the mellowness of it plus the blending of flavors far exceeded my expectations. Very smooth.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. The body is medium/full. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
