Purchased at local wine shop while in Italy a few years ago. Surprisingly good for $20. Tart cherry, dark berries, cassis, pepper. Some acidity. Enjoyed with lamb followed by hard Italian cheese.

Dark berries, mushrooms, excellent balance. Drinking well but plenty of time left.

1/3/21, 3:25 PM - Decanted for 1.5 hours. Paired with filet mignon that was marinated in fresh orange-lemon juice with garlic, dried prunes and Turkish apricots with tomato and burrata side salad followed by assorted Swiss, French, and Italian cheeses.
