My wife and I had last night this marvelous Bonnes Mares 1999 botle from Groffier at La Boheme restaurant in Santo Domingo. There is no words to honor the perfect condition,beatifull dark burgundy color and roundness, full balanced flavors reminiscent of dark berries, spices and a very long aftertaste ...of this wine.
I do believe, eventough fanatic of de Vogue wines that Groffier surpasses by far- with this botle- my beloved Musigny de Vogue.
Not so commom for my standards ; I would give an easy 100 rating to this beauty....with no regrets at all!

A perfect Big,round,beefy and a very long- long finish beautiful Bourgogne wine vintage 1996, matching an excellent osso buco recipe from chef Ciro Casola in Santo Domingo.
