12/8/20, 8:40 AM - Thanks srh, that's quite interesting. I might have caught this in a dumb phase, the oak seemed quite accentuated, surprised to find it only saw 30% NFO. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
12/8/20, 8:33 AM - Hi Jake, I'm a fan of Lanessan, but frankly I'd pass on the '08. Too lean and mean for me, but if it's your style, maybe it will work for you. Style-wise, the other TN's below seem to agree. Cheers!
9/6/20, 12:40 PM - Awesome @Neecies hope it shows well for you. I should note that I actually had this in May, should be even better now!
9/27/19, 8:33 AM - @ forceberry - the info came from the somm at resto Ha in Bordeaux, he was talking about the bigger structure making it a better match for heartier dishes. You can see from my note I was surprised to hear it too - viognier has extremely bitter skins. In hindsight, maybe he was wrong, I've yet to encounter this wine again so can't say with certainty. Cheers!
3/24/19, 11:40 AM - Hi Mike, I'm lucky - I live in Bordeaux. My local supermarket (Carrefour) has a temperature controlled cave, and all sorts of back vintages for sale.
3/23/16, 4:26 PM - Hi, so sorry you had a bad experience! Definitely sounds like an off bottle. Please drop me a line at dan@lichenestate.com, and we'll get a replacement bottle out to you ASAP...cheers!
3/29/13, 10:00 PM - This is not from Oregon. Mendocino County appellation, just outside the Anderson Valley AVA.
