Have been waiting for an occasion to open this bottle. However the last few reviews seem to have indicated that it has past its prime. Not true! Colour remains bright and clear. A deep ruby red. Nose still has fresh fruits and a little vanilla. The wine does not disappoint in the mouth. Soft feel with a good balance of tannin. Overall a nice long finish.

Perplexing wine. Not big scaled, a bit thin, but with air, some great truffle tinged cassis notes and still medium bodied with medium to short finish. Decent, a bit interesting, but nothing more. Priced above it's station.

This is a pretty disappointing wine. There just isn't much going on here to like. Maybe some leather and tar on the nose, but both are pretty flat on the palette. There is some spice (pepper) on the finish, but it's just overall too astringent.
