Took quite some time to open up. Very mute after opening. Dark, dense, but cool and dry. After 5-6 hours it opened up nicely with blackcurrant, menthol, tobacco, wood and some notes of forest floor. Tanins marked but fine structure. Great eith entrecote! A very good wine but not a fantastic qpr actually. But after 20 years it still feels like it should/could have 10 more

    1/22/24, 5:48 AM - Just a followup here. I think maybe I didnt let it breathe long enough. On day 2 it showed considerably more complexity and was great. I dont have much experience with Bordeaux this age and older but I must say i was expecting more. It still feels young to me..
