4/17/24, 3:39 PM - I've also seen people say it was "dead." I haven't found that either. But earlier was seeing complaints of secondary fermentation, which I have found.
12/13/23, 11:20 AM - Ouch!
11/1/23, 3:34 PM - Had same experience with at least one of them.
10/19/23, 12:08 PM - Wow. Uh oh. Better check in on one of these myself.
3/27/23, 4:52 PM - I did see Lettie Teague's column and was happy to see the Reca listed!
3/9/23, 8:04 PM - @yako Gva’ot, Vineyard Dance, 2017 is a blend of 46% Petit Verdot, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 23% Merlot, aged 12 months in French oak. Deep dark and inky purple at its core turning to dark ruby on its edges. Pronounced blackcurrant and plum with tobacco undertones. Medium to full-bodied, fresh and long-lasting medium+ acidity, with gripping tannins that need air to settle, showing dark fruits and black cherry tobacco with more plum. Characteristic wine of the Shomron, showing big fruit but still tamed at the hand of Dr. Drori. The PV is fully apparent with big Cab and the more subdued Merlot balancing the blend nicely.
3/9/23, 8:01 PM - I don't know how to respond to comments here, but, responding to Adam: I did say "perhaps." There is some thought that the mevushal process speeds the aging. I don't know if I agree. I've certainly had beautiful old Hagafens and Herzogs.
3/9/23, 7:57 PM - Definitely needs air (and really time in the cellar). I think it's great wine.
1/18/23, 9:30 PM - Have had great success lately with the '17 G Sec. Sounds like you had a bad bottle.
2/24/22, 8:34 PM - @yako - I have no idea how that happened. I will try to fix. Give it a 90.
11/11/21, 9:28 PM - I had a great one tonight.
10/7/21, 10:55 AM - Agreed, this wine needs years
2/10/20, 4:31 PM - Those Camuna wines were all drink now!
