Drunk with some king salmon, a great match. This wine had such rich fruit, it's a real beauty right now. Terrific mouthfeel, great finish, very bold but not over-oaked. The only issue is that it didn't shout pinot noir, it had a little candy in it, maybe an earthy pinot side but could also be mistaken for a light zin or a new world grenache. Nonetheless it was a beautiful wine. I won't hesitate to open my last one but there's no rush, it'll last.
