Winebar [Various Reds] for 12/2/16 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Muted; Jam, earth; Intensity lurking?

P: Med, poss MF, body; Excellent frt on the front, ever so nicely balanced by acidity; SEAMLESS, VERY long, slightly spicy finish. ELEGANT, yet doesn't lack for substance. Will likely improve through '17, then hold for a few. My 2nd vintage of this [relatives picked up the '13 @ the winery], I'd describe it as a Swiss Army knife of Zins: Not OVERLY anything, but MORE than functional @ different pts of time & with differing expectations.
