this was my second experience with eiswein, first was cloying and stickly lacking complexity, this bottle was very different. This had a similar taste to sauternes but cleaner and more defined (I am comparing to budget low grade sauternes for reference). lots of pear apple and restrained citrus notes, nice finish with little to no bitterness but still acidic. Absolutely wonderful desert wine, I doubt many would be disappointed in this wine, unless of course you regularly drink Dyquem. I would strongly recommend this and suspect this will remain one of my favorite desert wines for some time.

Thick fruity earchy tanic and complex. Buy it, you willnot be disappointed, pairs amazingly with blue cheese and dark chocolate, and who knows what else. It was our first experience with port and to date the best out of 3 other tastings.

this was our first ever experience with a port, and we have tasted several other ports since and to date this is the go to port in our cellar. Absolutely amazing pairing with blue cheese and chocolate, the complexity and the thick body of this port is amazing and still has both myself and my spouse walking through the grocery store looking at food and wondering what it tastes like with port. If you have never tasted a port I strongly suggest you just go out and buy a bottle of this (it is amazingly cheap for what you get) and try it by itself, then try it with creamy blue cheese, then try it with dark chocolate. You will be impressed, and likely fall in love with port. This is one of our favorite wines to share.

a nice and what I believe to be a kabinett Riesling, I wish it had been labeled as such but this bottle was not labeled as a kabinett. It had a nice complexity to it that had lots of pear and fruit tones as well as a minerality that one would expect from a nice Mosel wine. If you like a dry to semi dry Riesling you will probably really love this wine. I do not like the fact this wine was not labeled as such though, but at the price it was a very good purchase for the high level of quality of this wine.

a nice tasting wine that tastes a lot like a Gewürztraminer so keep this in mind, pairs very well with spicy food like Indian or Thai, don't let the points scare you off it is one of the better Rieslings out there for the price and it has a bit of complexity to it that better Rieslings or Gewürztraminers should have.

I think this bottle may have been corked, cork had a smell of vinegar and wine had an aftertaste of stale leather. This wine may have been good had it not had these issues, poured the bottle out.

Nice example of a drinkable affordable California Cab, tastes a bit young and bitter but not overly offensive. I would buy again, a great everyday cab for cooking and spaghetti as well.
