Acidity is high, lots of spice, white pepper, red fruit, pomegranate, licorice.
Integrated tannins. Good wine, I appreciate it, but not my wheelhouse. Also not a good QPR for me.

Probably the best glass of wine I have had. Beautiful nose of dark fruit, a touch of leather, hint of rose petal, and earth. Fantastic freshness and acidity, medium + weight, bright fruit, cassis, soft oak, and firm tannins with a long finish. Just WOW! This wine should be even more spectacular in 2025 at 10 years. I am not aure if I can save one until then!

11/30/20, 1:56 PM - I know it's almost sacrilegious, but I did not decant. I used a Coravin to pour a glass, and just let it breath for 30 minutes or so, swirling occasionally. When I open the bottle, I will decant for a couple of hours. It may be even better then.

2012 Ca' Rugate Soave Classico Monte Fiorentine Garganega
Used to make Osso Bucco e Risotto alla Milanese. Good sipper while the kitchen filled with aromes della roux.
