WHY do I drink, share, collect, discuss, and learn about wine? WHY do I travel the wide, wide world of wine in life and literature?

3.The intellectual stimulation that comes from learning about wine making and wine history
4.The deeper understanding gained from learning about the people, culture, and geography of the wine regions that I have visited
5.The challenge and hobby of collecting wine -seeking, locating, acquiring, organizing, cataloging, displaying, storing, and maintaining my wines
6.The satisfaction and sense of well being derived from buying the finest wines for the best value and knowing that my wines are a non traditional asset not correlating to stocks, bonds, real estate, or art. Red Bordeaux wine futures are the best performing asset class from 1966 to 2005
