This wine may have passed its prime, seemed a bit weak and watery in the mouth. Nose was interesting with mild nutmeg, bay leaf, and almost an orange liqueur aroma. Color was light red bordering on orange. In the mouth, dry, weak and watery on the attack, remarkably light acid and tannins relative to expected, light to medium body on the palate, flavors of slightly underripe blackberry and mild orange. Finishes with similar taste. Did not decant but saw little change over much swirling and 20 minutes. Will update this if vacu-cork in the fridge reveals something better after 24 hours
