With pan seared Opah with tomato-garlic-lime compound butter. Not a brilliant pairing as I didn't expect so much oak. Wow. The reviewer who called in unoaked needs a COVID test. Buried under that was some lemon curd and maybe pineapple. Not my thing, sorry.

This wine surprised the hell out of me. It's really a decent wine. Perfect for food and will make most dishes come alive. Slightly tart, nice bright fruit, perhaps sour cherry, and tannins at a restrained level. Astounds me how much I like this one, and not shabby or hard edged. Recommended and I would be very pleased to get a glass of this at a restaurant as a house wine.
