70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot noir. Disgorged March 2018 after 13 years on lees with no dosage. Full of wonderful hazelnut, brioche and savory caramel notes, presumably from the long time pre-disgorgement. There’s a bit of acid accompanying it which works nicely, but is just a little strong at this point. Perhaps a few more years of bottle age will put this in a perfect spot.

    6/11/21, 5:27 PM - I have one more left but a dozen ‘16s. It’s a shame because I feel like Huet doesn’t get the same attention as white burg in regard to pre-mox, but it is definitely an issue.
