Nice enough Cab, still needs some time in the cellar in my opinion. Nice cherry notes, just too much tanin for my taste at this stage, too sharp. Will wait another year to try again.

Med-light bodied, strawberry notes, med tanin, nice finish. Typical good Zin. Will buy more.

Knights Valley Cab has always been a favorite of mine, and I think we bought this thinking it would be similar. Back when purchased these bottles, this wine was very tanic, so much it hid any hint of fruit. So, we put the others in storage for a couple of years. This is now fairly dry, but very light in the fruit category, most of the Tanins are smoothed out. The remaining bottle I have will be saved for next time recipe calls for dry red wine. This stuff is good enough, but not great, and there are many others I would rather drink from my cellar.

We've had this since 2006 when it was gifted from my brother Jon. Medium to light bodied with scents and flavors of black cherry and currant evident. No tanin perceptable in this bottle, so probably a good thing we drank it tonight as I doubt it would age much further. Red Garnet in color this was thoroughly enjoyable with the apricot glazed corned beef we paired it with. If you have any of this wine, I strongly recommend drinking it this year as I doubt it will age gracefully beyond this year.

Gifted to us 2 years ago from my brother Jon, glad we chose to drink it tonight because I doubt it can go much longer. Medium to light bodied, garnet in color starting to have some shades of brown yet the bottle had no trash in it. There are no tanins left to support further aging, but it was quite enjoyable. Flavors of Black Cherry and Current were evident, aromas of similar fruit, but not of a jammy level. If you have some of this wine, I strongly recommend that you drink it soon. I have one more bottle in the off site storage that I will bring home for consumption in the near future.

We use this whenever a recipe calls for a dry white wine and stock for general white wine consumption. This is very pleasant when appropriately chilled. As noted by another, we initially purchased due to memories of our visit to Orvietto and the Cathedral prictured on the lable. You can't beat the price for a great everyday white. We have been drinking this wine since the 1998 vintage and it remains a dependable stock item. Give it a try, it won't disappoint. At this price, it would be very hard to!

This wine is very tart and as indicated on the label, beyond the name of the winery, a Dry Sauvignon Blanc. Expect a Fume/Sauvignono Blanc to be tart, but this was a tartness that got in the way of the meal. Had with seafood, will not buy this again.
